See it. I thought it was very creative. Good movie too.

Okay, I like both teams, but this season seems a bit unbalanced. Though, I won't lie, I'd love to see both teams go 16-0, and both teams to go to the Superbowl. That'd make this the hardest season to top in the history of the NFL. That being said, I hope Chargers make it, and win the superbowl :P

Dec. 11th, 2009 @ 01:05 pm Question from work, again
If you could choose the existence of God/Gods, or the existence of an afterlife, which one would you choose? You can only choose one, there is no "Well..." no debate. It's hypothetical. I don't care what you believe, but what would you choose? And why?

Dec. 8th, 2009 @ 09:59 pm Accents
So, my boss threw down the gauntlet on me. He said that if I could pull off faking an Australian accent for a year at my work, and speak it normally by the last month of the year next year, he'd nominate me for employee of the year. I'm going to try it. I'm going to see if I can actually have an Australian accent for my normal everyday speaking instead of my American:Californian accent.

So, my question to you all is: If you could pick a different accent, what would you choose? You have to speak English though.

The next question is, would you be willing to try this challenge with me? ;3

So, someone at work told me of a story of some woman going crazy after so many self help therapy sessions that she stripped naked, sang a song, and jumped out the window to her death. They never mentioned what the song was though.

So my office decided to ask around to people and find out what people would sing before they jumped out the window.

My answers? Freebird from Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Dead Man's Party from Oingo Boingo.

What would you all sing before plummeting to your death?

So, two weird things. After meeting the sons of two of my co-workers, one of them is acting like me now, and the other has an imaginary friend named after me who does the same things I do.

The kids thought I was really cool because I was younger than most of the adults there, and climbed up a tree while drunk, and they thought it was funny. So, yeah, I'm a bad influence already :3

Congrats...I hope you're happy...

Edit: Okay, to clarify because people think I'm actually upset...

Patriots lost by 1 point to the Colts, because of bad clock/timeout/play management by the Patriots coaching staff. They made some bad calls, but in all honesty, the Colts deserved that win with how well they played. I'm just sad they lost is all.

I wrote that when they had a touchdown. I didn't realize they called it back and had to do a field goal. I guess my random prediction was wrong XD

As I write this, the game is tied for the falcons and saints. Here's my theory. There is a balance for winless and undefeated teams. Two winless teams won this week, so two undefeated teams have to lose this week. Colts already won, so if Saints win, the balance will be kept.

That means if Tampa Bay wins one this season, Colts will lose their game that week. That's my random guess. So, for Tigjah's sake, I hope Tampa Bay can accomplish what Detriot did last year.

Did 4 miles the last 2 days, so 8 miles so far this week. Have a 5 mile run on Friday, and some plyometrics training on Saturday. I'm still climbing 3 times this week. I'm not as sore as I'd thought I'd be. That's a good sign. I'm slowly loosing weight too. That's a great sign.

My 10K will be on October 3rd. It'll be my longest run. I hope it goes well.

When the winter months hit, I'm going to hit the gym. It's 160 for a 3 month membership to a 24 hour fitness close to here. I can run the treadmill on days it's too shitty to run. Plus I can cycle and swim (since I want to eventually do a triathlon, and one day do an Iron Man competition).

Things are on track. I'm happy.

38:34 on a 4 mile run. 35 seconds slower than I had hoped. I wanted to break 38 minutes on this 4 mile. Still, seeing as the Trolley Run I did was a 39:47, and that race is pretty much downhill, this is a good trend.

I also ate a big meal and am fasting for 24 hours afterward. Don't ask why.

Here's my stats!

bib number: 615
age: 24
gender: M
location: Independence, MO
overall place: 430 out of 1236
division place: 10 out of 24
gender place: 251 out of 457
time: 38:34
pace: 9:39

Didn't run on Saturday or Sunday. I feel lazy. I didn't even climb. What I did do, is build a rock band pedal using a squire kick pedal, Yamaha KP75 trigger pad, reed relay, and some earth magnets. I'll have pictures later, but let me tell you, it's awesome. Very, very, awesome. I recommend this for all people who want a better pedal. One note though. It takes a lot of getting used to. The pedal is heavier, and the rebound from the pad changes up how you use it. It's not like with the rock band pedal where you press down plastic on a spring.

Hopefully I'll run today. I have 18.5 miles so far this month. I need more.

I went running last night. 3 miles. Not bad. I ran at a 9:43 pace. I'm kind of pissed. Either my form sucked or I wasn't in it last night. I was shooting for 9.

Just so you guys know, my pacing sucks. I'm out of shape. I would love to blame it on the fact that I weigh 200 pounds (my body fat is actually quite low amazingly :3 ) but it's merely that I let myself get out of shape for 6 years. I mean, I didn't do anything after high school. In high school, I was 140 pounds, and could run a 5:45 mile. I just need to tough it up, and keep running. Hopefully I'll get down to 9 minutes regularly, and eventually 8.

So, 5 miles today. I've put in 11 over the last 3 days. Thank god I'm only climbing tomorrow. I get to rest ;_;

My next actual full day off of physical activities isn't until Sunday, so let's hope I can take it easy while I work out.

At 0:43, you'll see him start a one arm pull up, lock off about 5 inches too short, then kick his legs to get the momentum for that last hold. These people are beasts.
